FAQs

What’s the dress code?

We kindly request all guest abide by a semi-formal dress code. Need help? Here are some guidelines below:

Semi formal wedding attire sits at the sweet spot between understated dressy and elevated casual. It’s also commonly referred to as “dressy casual” — which can be viewed as a weekend version of business casual. Think: flowy dresses, simple suit jackets, and timeless silhouettes.

Where Do I Stay If I Am From Out Of Town?

Our friends who live in the area have kindly offered to open their homes to folks coming in from out of town who need a place to stay. Please contact Nicole at 860.519.6074 if you are in need of accommodation.

Can I bring my children?

If you’re on the list, so is your kiddo! We love all our friends and family’s children. There will be food for children, but we don’t have a dedicated daycare area. Please be mindful when bringing your child if you plan to drink (and on that note, please also have a dedicated driver - drinking and driving is strictly off-limits).

What’s the parking situation?

The wedding reception will be held at Quarry Ridge Golf Course in Portland, CT. There should be enough parking for everyone on the list, we highly encourage folks to carpool when they can to ensure there is enough space for all (and it is better for the planet!).

Do I get a plus one?

Your invitation will specify who is in your party. We know most of your spouses and long-term partners, so they are already on the list! Please refer to the RSVP page and type in your name if you aren’t quite sure.

Where the heck is Portland, CT?

Good question! Portland, CT is a teeny tiny town smack dab in the middle of Connecticut. 30 minutes south of Hartford and 40 min north of New Haven, Portland sits along the bank of the Connecticut River and is where Nicole grew up.
